Getty Gets Acquired
Getty Images, one of the big stock photography companies around, is about to be acquired by a private equity firm, Hellman & Friedman, for $2.4 billion. Shareholders in the currently publicly-held company would get $34 a share. Here's the scary part: Getty is just over 10 years old.
